A new entertainment complex is coming to Pasco County.

ECHO Real Estate Services/Development of Pittsburgh, Pa., intends to construct a regional retail and entertainment complex along the west side of Interstate 75 in Wesley Chapel, just north of state Route 54.

The 835,000-square-foot project will also include 300 residential units.

The total value of The Grove at Wesley Chapel is expected to exceed $100 million, a release said.

Construction is scheduled to begin in Fall 2005 and be completed in early 2007.

ECHO said the focus on tenant mix would be on attracting large format specialty retailers, restaurants and national entertainment chains. He added negotiations with a major theater chain that would include a 14-screen center are nearing completion.

ECHO is a real estate firm that specializes in building multi-use projects, rehabilitating under-performing assets, conducting property management and leasing and managing syndication and joint venture projects.
